This elegant baroque desk made of high-quality, solid oak is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The artistic plum wood borders give the piece of furniture a noble appearance and emphasize the magnificent baroque design. The desk has been restored and preserved and not only offers aesthetic appeal, but is also fully functional.
The two-part desk is equipped with functional and smooth-running drawers and a practical writing flap. The keys and locks on the drawers and writing flap are not original and were added later, but they still function perfectly and allow documents and utensils to be stored safely. The lock and key on the desk door are original and also fully functional. The original back panel is characterized by excellent rough planing marks, which were used to cut the wood to size. Typical handicraft marks of the carpenters of the time.
This baroque desk not only impresses with its elegant exterior, but also with its rare and functional interior. Inside there are ten small drawers that are ideal for storing small items and documents. The fine brass knobs on the small drawers add a stylish accent and complement the high-quality design of the piece of furniture.
